By accessing altitudepakistan.com, submitting an inquiry, or confirming a booking with ALTITUDE PAKISTAN, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy policy. If you book on behalf of others, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for every member of your party.

ALTITUDE PAKISTAN acts as a tour operator and coordinator for land-based travel in Pakistan. We arrange itineraries through independent partners—drivers, guides, porters, lodges, and local suppliers. We are not an airline, hospital, or government authority. Mountain travel depends on weather, road conditions, permit approvals, and events beyond our control.

Published itineraries, durations, and elevations are indicative. Final routes may be adjusted for safety, with your coordinator's guidance.

• Quotations are valid for the period stated on your proposal unless we notify you otherwise.
• Prices are typically quoted per person or per vehicle/group and may exclude international flights, visas, personal gear, tips, and optional activities unless explicitly included.
• Government taxes, permit fees, fuel surcharges, or park entry costs may change without notice and can be passed through at cost.
• A booking is confirmed only when we acknowledge it in writing and receive any required deposit.
• We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe a trip is unsuitable for a guest's stated fitness, experience, or documentation.

A non-refundable deposit is usually required to secure vehicles, lodge blocks, guides, and permit slots. The balance is due by the date specified in your confirmation—often before departure. Late payment may result in cancellation and forfeiture of amounts already paid, as set out in our Cancellation & Refund policy.

Payments may be made by bank transfer, card, or other methods we approve. You are responsible for bank charges and currency conversion unless stated otherwise.

Pakistan's northern areas are subject to landslides, pass closures, flight cancellations, and security advisories. If an itinerary must change, we will propose reasonable alternatives of similar standard. Extra costs arising from force majeure (natural disaster, civil unrest, pandemic restrictions, etc.) may be payable by the guest unless covered by insurance.

• Hold a valid passport, visa, and any permits required for your nationality and route.
• Disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, and fitness limitations honestly during booking.
• Follow guide and driver instructions, especially at altitude, on glaciers, and at cultural or religious sites.
• Respect local customs, dress modestly where appropriate, and ask before photographing people.
• Avoid behaviour that endangers yourself, the group, staff, or communities we visit.
• Carry personal medications and comply with Pakistan's laws regarding restricted items.

We may remove a guest from a trip without refund if their conduct puts others at risk or violates these terms or local law.

Comprehensive travel insurance—including medical treatment and helicopter evacuation where trekking or climbing is involved—is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain expeditions. ALTITUDE PAKISTAN does not provide insurance coverage. See our Travel safety page for practical guidance.

Cancellation timelines, refund percentages, and exceptions (including visa refusal and force majeure) are detailed in our dedicated Cancellation & Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, ALTITUDE PAKISTAN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including lost earnings or missed connections). Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific booking is limited to the fees you paid us for that booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

Website content—including text, photographs, logos, itineraries, and layout—is owned by ALTITUDE PAKISTAN or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or republish it for commercial use without written permission. Trip photographs taken by our staff may be used for marketing unless you opt out in writing before departure.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you in your home country.
